The Game Awards was last night and it was MID! I went to sleep early. I feel like if they didn't leak Leon being in RE9, and showed his reveal trailer so early in the show, it would've been more enjoyable. But, there's some things I want to mention from TGA besides LEON BEING IN RE9! EEKS! Old man Leon is just as cool! I think Leon is the only person that's able to pull off that haircut no matter what age. Anyways, a game called Bradley the Badger referenced Bloodborne, and I geeked pretty hard. At the first shot of the Bloodborne-esque environment, I made a joke and went "It's Bloodborneee :B" and then it slowly got more obvious that's what the game was referencing and I went "I WAS KIDDING!" XD
Stupid Never Dies's gameplay and characters look AMAZING. I'm pretty excited to see more of that game, Control Resonant and Divinity too. Phantom Blade 0 got a release date for September, which that with Leon's official reveal, were pretty much the two highlights of The Game Awards for me. Expedition 33 won GOTY, which I predicted, I swear. 2 years in a row I predicted the GOTY. I feel like I haven't heard a lot about Expedition 33 besides that time my sister's lad recommended it to me, but that might just be me being under a rock like usual. My bros haven't heard about it before either though ... is this a psyop?!
Anyways, I started playing MGS4 to train myself for long cutscenes before I get to Yakuza, and I really missed both MGS and my PS3. I can't wait till my bro Raiden shows up :3 The tv channel part at the beginning of the game confused me so severely that I was half convinced that this game was like a DVD for no reason and had advertisements you had to watch before you got to play, so I sat there for a good 3 minutes before I decided to press x on my controller. I also like the weird hairless monkey that Drebin has.
In Bloodborne, I switched from the Kirkhammer to the Amygdalan arm and I'm having a lot of fun with it. I realized the Kirkhammer wasn't really my playstyle, so I looked at a list of the weapons in Bloodborne and went on a suicide mission for the weirdest one. I want to try out the Bloodletter too, but I don't know if I'm good enough yet to get on that train ... Also, I'm at end game at the moment, and I was scared that I was just delusional this whole time and I was gonna hate Micolash's fight while replaying it, but I still genuinely really like it LOL. I think I'm the only Bloodborne fan out there who really likes his fight.
Just something short I wanted to write, I swear I'll get back to emails soon ... Excited to get to play as Leon in RE9, TA-TA!

Shhhh, it's 3 am as I write this sentence ... Sorry it's been so long since I wrote, I really haven't had much to say recently in general. But, I stacked up some notes over the month, so I thought I might write now. Recently, I started up a second playthrough of Bloodborne after getting stuck (...again) in Shadow of the Erdtree. I decided to switch up the weapon this run and use the Kirkhammer, and while I don't like it as much as the Saw Cleaver, it's treating me pretty well so far. I 1st tried Vicar Amelia with it. Which, if you read my logs when I was fighting her, you'd know she gave me a lot of trouble the first time around, so it shocked me pretty badly LOL. But, yeah, I really missed Bloodborne and I'm pretty excited to play it again since I haven't really been feeling the games I've been playing at the moment. Not that Persona 2 EP or Elden Ring are bad, they're amazing, I've just been at them for so long I'm getting a little bored XD
In Shadow of the Erdtree, I'm really getting my tush handed to me. I'm getting stuck on every boss like a noob, because I am a noob. I've never played a harder game than my booty turd build with late game Elden Ring, it's really hurting me. I'm stuck on Putrescent Knight at the moment ... Please don't laugh, his telegraphs are confusing me so badly I can't hit him more than once before dying. It's really bad. I was getting so fed up with it because of the stupid drop in being so long too that I just gave up for now and ran back to papa. I suckle on Bloodborne nipple.
I played a bit of Pathologic and Yakuza 0 when I got bored about a week ago, and they didn't hook me so I'm putting them off for later. The cutscenes were kind of absurdly long in Yakuza, I think that's why I wasn't really getting into it. There's been games I've played, like, 1 hour of that I know I'd like if I played more of, I just haven't played them at the right time yet. Dark Souls 3, Metaphor ReFantazio, Pathologic, and Yakuza 0 are some examples. I'll get to them one day, I know they're good!!! I think my brain has rotted over the past couple months or something, ever since I was in the hospital!!!!!! I need to play a game where you just beat things up. There's this one memory I have of my dad playing RE8 where he kept skipping cutscenes and going "When do I get to shoot things?" ... I don't want to turn into that. I'll get to Yakuza 0 and I will never skip the cutscenes, even if they're really long.
Been playing Persona 2 EP again, still really slowly chipping away at that game. I think it's been a year since I started it? Wow! The game isn't that hard, I've just been taking month long breaks in between playing for a couple hours. Once you're out of a pure Persona obsession (I still love Persona I'll have you know), the random encounters really start getting annoying XD ... I'm looking back at the list of the games I beat last year, and I'm really wondering how I had so much time for all those games. I mean, I beat nearly every Persona game in one year? That's insane. How'd I do that? ... This last year of school has really sucked my soul dry. I can't wait for it to be over X-( !!! Also on my PS Vita, I downloaded this Madoka Magica game I found. I played a little bit of it, and it's honestly pretty cool. Can't understand a lick of it since it's in Japanese, but the actual gameplay is honestly really fun. It's called Puella Magi Madoka Magica: The Battle Pentagram.
awww
My bros and I played more Saihate Station, and we got the worst ending. It's because I was there XD !!! I have a way of getting the worst endings first ever since I played Omori. Ahhhh, a classic tale. Anyways, I really enjoyed getting to backseat game with my bros and voice the crazy girl Tatsunami. Saihate Station is a pretty cool game I recommend playing, especially with friends :D . I beat Dispatch a little bit ago as well, and also somehow got the worst ending apparently. I didn't feel like it was any bad, I actually liked it, but apparently it's considered the bad ending. I didn't neglect Invisigal at all and she still embraced villainy. Whatever! Be like that!!! Anyways, the ending felt really satisfying. Seeing Invisigal kill Shroud after such a cool battle was really ... epic is the only word I can use to describe it :P
That's all I have to update about ... GOODNIGHT!
November 1st, 2025
Happy November 1st ... I wonder what yesterday was *cheeky grin.* I hope ghouls knocked the socks off of you folks, I did nothing and fell asleep at like 8 pm. My John Egbert shirt didn't arrive in time to cosplay. Cries a river. Anyways, today I played the Reanimal demo, and wow, man I'm so excited for its release. The part they ended it off at was EVIL. I want to play MORE! I love the designs of the characters, and dialogue is a surprising new addition. I've also been playing Dispatch recently, and one thing I really love is how expressive the characters are, like the face Blonde Blazer made when Robert said he'd spent millions. Subtle expression changes like that can really change a whole scene, and I think Dispatch does a really good job at it. One thing I wonder is how is any Youtuber or streamer gonna censor the beginning of Episode 4 ... it's just going to have to be a big black box LMFAO. If you're wondering who I kept on the team, by the way, it was Sonar. I like his character a lot, I couldn't let him go ... It took a lot of consideration though, which was funnily contrasted by me immediately picking Waterboy to be on the team. I just think he deserves a chance.
Shadow of the Erdtree has been whooping me recently as well. Rellana is like a less difficult Malenia, and Dancing Lion was just pure misery. I think I was too low of a level fighting Dancing Lion, I was only Scadu level 1. OOPS XD ... But, right now, I really like Rellana's fight. It definitely has a familiar dance to it the way fights like Malenia and Lady Maria have. Her fight isn't going too poorly for me at the moment either, unlike how Dancing Lion did XD ... I was recently looking at Hiveswap as well, and a lot of the troll designs look really sick. After I'm done reading Homestuck with my buds, I think I might play Hiveswap.
I didn't have much to say today because I haven't been playing a whole lot, I feel my free time DYING. Okay, peace out.
October 13th, 2025
Apologies, friends, it's taken me so long to write ... I've been working on some projects and school still kicking me to the curb, so logs are slower than normal, in which are already pretty slow in the first place. I've beaten and started up some games since I last wrote, so I'll speak on those first. I beat Elden Ring's base game, and let me say I really hate Radagon's fight. The delayed attacks and AOEs, coupled with the Elden Beast fight, really made it kind of less epic and more annoying. It made me miss Malenia XD ... I love Malenia's fight, even if waterfowl is a nightmare. I got Ranni's ending! I played Flesh, Blood, & Concrete as well, which is a game you can actually play in browser here. It's a cool, surrealist RPGMaker game that I really recommend playing, it has a wonderful aesthetic and some beautiful artwork to it. I got the happy ending :3 ... About surrealist games, I found "Militsoner" and "No, I'm Not a Human" as well, which I recommend checking out too.
I've been meaning to make a list of surrealist games I know, cause a lot of the lists I've found just kind of suck. I saw one that had Deltarune and Earthbound on it ... Sure, I guess they could be a little weird, but they're not really surrealist XD? Some surrealist/weird/bizarre games off the top of my head that I can name right now are Baroque, Sonic Dreams Collection, #21 The World, IPad Baby, Yume Nikki, Soup 0.9, LSD Dream Emulator, Flesh Blood & Concrete, The Fantastic Game, Le Fantabulous Game, Fatum Betula, ENA Dream BBQ, No I'm Not a Human, The Museum of Anything Goes, Digital Dreamware, Germs Nerawareta Machi, Militsoner, and this one game that I'm pretty sure was named White? You killed this anime girl. I've talked about it before I think, but I can't find it anymore...
Silent Hill F came out a couple weeks ago, and I've played about two hours or so of it right now with my little bits of free time. It reminds me a lot of Pastoral to Die in The Country, but so far I think Silent Hill F is just alright. A 6/10, based off what I've played and what I've heard. Doesn't feel like Silent Hill as much as I was expecting, and I really don't like the Kitsune guy. He feels like such a sore thumb XD ... I really like the town segments though, so I'll keep playing and see how I feel at the end! This does make me want to try out Higurashi, though.
Little Nightmares 3 came out a couple days ago. I beat it this afternoon, and I actually really love it. I know a lot of people hate it, and some of the reasons I can see and agree with, but I really enjoyed what I played and I feel like people are being a little harsh on it. I think the ending did feel a bit incomplete, and a large part of that I feel like is because there's not a main villain like LN1 and LN2, but the game is far from TRASH. I saw some people say Low and Alone had no chemistry?! I won't stand for that criticism, because it's just not true. I feel like the game paralleled Little Nightmares 2 at a lot of points, and we're meant to callback to Six and Mono when Alone is grabbing onto Low hanging off the cliff, but she WENT DOWN WITH HIM. IF THAT'S NOT BROS FOR LIFERS THEN I DONT KNOW WHAT IS! MONO AND SIX COULD NEVER! I just think they're both so sweet, and the ending broke my heart, even if I do think it could've been more polished. I say the game is overall a 8.5/10, I really enjoyed it. It will be added to the list of games I like that people hate, right next to my darling Resident Evil 6.
Some last things ... I've been watching my bro Fay play Saihate Station with some more computer friends, and that game is pretty good as well so far. I saw a drawing of the main characters dressed as Nagito and Hajime, so I guess we know now that Tatsunami is a crazy girl just like Nagito. OD had a teaser trailer, which ... all I have to say ... Welcome Back P.T.! We missed you! Lastly, I saw Noelle in the Undertale 10th Anniversary streams, and I geeked out ... I love Noelle. I can't wait for Chapter 5.
Ok ... that's all ... goodbye brotaters and brohaters.
