The Art of Cuphead, Studio MDHR, 2020: I received this as a gift from my mom some years back. I was quite young when Cuphead released back in 2017, and even then I was enamored by how much effort and time went into the art for this game. The pure dedication to perfectly and accurately capturing the style of rubberhose cartoons never fails to impress me, no matter how much time passes. Whenever I think about Cuphead, the way the art was created always comes to mind first ...
Resident Evil 3 Official Perfect Guide, Versus Books Volume 9, 1999: The free poster didn't come with it, someone along the way took it for themself. There's a really cool 2 page spread of Nemesis at the beginning of the guide, and the portraits of the enemies throughout remind me of Baroque for some reason. I find that even in 1999 were the camera angles during the clocktower fight considered awkward ... The design for each page is really great, and on one is there a segment comparing Nemesis to Sagat from Street Fighter.
