Silent Hill 2 Notes: Japanese, released in 2001. My PS2 is hooked up to an old CRT TV, so it's really nice to have this game. It looks really cool... Most of the Japanese releases for the Silent Hill games are pretty cheap compared to their North American counterparts.
Final Fantasy VIII Notes: US, released in 1999. I found this in a box at a little nerdy store I was in. It was like 10 dollars, so I snagged it cause it's pretty freakin' cool. There's 4 discs and this little survey card on the inside of the mini-walkthrough, Squall's on it. You were meant to send it in to Squaresoft through the mail.
Silent Hill 3 Notes: Japanese, released in 2003. A lot of what I wrote for Silent Hill 2 applies to here too. But, the CD that comes with this release of Silent Hill 3, which is in my CD page if you'd like to see, is really fun. Mini CDs are always great : - P
Um Jammer Lammy Notes: Japanese, released in 1999. This game comes with so many cool things. Just the design of the disc is enough to flip a marble. It's really unique, too, the way it's shown off in the game case. It's almost backwards, with the back of the disc facing towards the inside of the case, so the disc art shows through the little window on the front. There's stickers and little advertisements for Lammy and PaRappa merch on the inside, too.
Baroque Notes: Japanese, released in 1999. I wish more people knew about this game, it has beautiful artwork. Sometimes, I take it out of my shelf just to look at the cover art x - P . There's a fansite for it on the web, if you're curious. There's a lot of information and cool things on it: nervetower.neocities.org
PaRappa the Rapper Notes: Japanese, released in 1996. The PaRappa series has some undeniable coolness when it comes to design. Both the disc and cover art for this release of PaRappa is amazing. And, to add on to it, this release comes with an entire map of PaRappa Town that is big enough to cover my entire piano chair.
